TZ80 – Small Office / WFH (25-30 users)

The SonicWall TZ80 is a subscription-based, next-generation firewall (NGFW) specifically designed for small offices, home offices (SOHO), and IoT deployments. Part of the SonicWall Gen 8 lineup, it prioritizes a low total cost of ownership by operating exclusively through active service subscriptions rather than a high upfront hardware cost.

Performance and Security
The SonicWall TZ80 provides unified performance across all security features, ensuring your network speed remains consistent even while inspecting traffic for threats.

Throughput: According to SonicWall documentation, the device maintains a consistent 750 Mbps for firewall inspection, threat prevention, application inspection, and IPS throughput.

Encrypted Traffic: It handles TLS/SSL inspection (DPI SSL) at 250 Mbps, allowing it to detect threats hidden in encrypted web traffic.

Advanced Protection: It features Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection (RTDMI) to catch zero-day exploits and unknown malware by inspecting data directly in the memory.

Zero-Trust Support: The unit has a built-in connector for SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge (CSE), enabling Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) for remote users.

Hardware Specifications
The TZ80 is a compact, fanless desktop appliance suitable for quiet office environments.
